GoMappED collects the following data:
l Student personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
l Employee identification information (name, email address, phone number, address, personal ID and criminal records etc.)
l Recordings of online classes
l Facial expression data via facial recognisation technology
You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:
l register online
l deliver online courses or join online meetings
l voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
l use or view our website via your browser's cookies.
GoMappED collects your data so that we can:
l manage your account on the online training platform
l comply with relevant laws, government or industry policies and accreditation standards for carrying out online teaching in both Ireland and China
l carry out research and analysis in best practice for online education
l facial expression data will only be used for generating the individual study report (visible by you and your teachers) and class performance report, which does not include personal identification. You can simply turn off the camera to disable this facial expression data collection.
l promote Kells Class as part of our marketing activities
l Identify any breaches of company policy by any party (for the protection of both teachers and students)
l provide technical support to teachers and students when needed
l carry out any other activities to fulfill the employment agreement (research or surveys for example)
When GoMappED provides courses or services to you, we may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from technical service suppliers to provide necessary supports for your online classes.
For European residents, GoMappED securely stores your data at our server in Frankfurt, Germany.
For Asian residents, GoMappED securely stores your data at our server in Shenzhen, China.
GoMappED will keep your course video recording for 6 months after which we will delete your data by removing the video recording from our server. Other personal data will be kept during your employment period and will be deleted within 10 working days after the employment period has been terminated, unless otherwise specified in case you want us to keep them on file for future reference.
GoMappED would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access - You have the right to request GoMappED for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification - You have the right to request that GoMappED correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request GoMappED to complete information you believe is incomplete
The right to erasure - You have the right to request that GoMappED erase your personal data under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that GoMappED restrict the processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to GoMappEd’s processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
The right to data portability - You have the right to request that GoMappED transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you under certain conditions.
